The term ‘Paratha’ is an amalgamation of two words Parat and Atta i.e. layers of cooked dough . It is generally made with fine wheat flour (Maida) . The product ‘Roti’ is called with different names in different regions of our Country. In Punjab it is called as ‘Phulka’, in Maharashtra it is called as ‘Bhakari’, etc.
